Priority Wine Pass FAQ's

Is the priority wine pass worth it (and other frequently asked questions)

Eberle offers free tastings for everyone so make sure you add them to your list!

Get 2 for 1’s in Paso with the Priority Wine Pass - but is it worth it?

Wait. What is the Priority Wine Pass?

It’s an annual discount pass that gets you 2 for 1’s at a number of Paso wineries as well as all over Napa and Sonoma. You can get it on my site for just $39 and you only need one pass per couple to take advantage of the BOGO deals. Already have one from your trip to Napa? Then you’re good to go, use the same pass in Paso.

Now not every winery in Paso is on the pass but there are enough to keep you busy for a long 3 day weekend. And there are discounts in neighboring areas like SLO, Santa Barbara, Los Olivos, Santa Maria, you get the idea. CLICK HERE for the complete list.

ARE THE WINERIES ON THE PASS ANY GOOD?

Yes, there are some really good ones like Opolo which has a huge outside sitting area and wood fired pizzas, Sculptera which has insanely cool sculptures in their beautiful garden, Dresser who was just voted one of the top wineries in Paso by locals, and many more, plus a couple of wineries I added that have free tastings. And there’s more coming - your wine pass deals keep expanding as more wineries join.

BACK TO SCHOOL, LET’S DO SOME MATH

You bought a Priority Wine Pass for $39. After looking at the list you picked three wineries that looked interesting. At one of the wineries you save $30, the next one you save $25, and the last one you save $20. Add it all up and using the Priority Wine Pass you saved $75 and after backing out the price of the pass you keep $36 in your wallet on your first day. I know, that’s not that impressive but if you went to similar wineries on day 2 and saved another $75 your net savings for the weekend is $116. Now that’s more like it. And remember, you can use it again and again and also in Napa, Sonoma, San Diego, even other states like Oregon.

HOW DO YOU USE THE PASS?

The Priority Wine Pass is a digital pass that you simply show when you arrive to get the BOGO deal. Of course it’s always smart to make reservations so let them know at that time so that they can make sure the charges are correct. Are you in Paso right now and you don’t have a pass? No worries, get it right now and use it … right now!

COMES WITH FREE CONCIERGE SERVICE?

Yes, if you get the pass you can reach out to their free concierge who will help you put together your Paso trip stop by stop. Mention that Wally sent you and the concierge reaches out to me and we work on them together. If you are overwhelmed trying to pick the best wineries just let us help you with that. It’s free!

DO I NEED TO BUY WINE? HOW ABOUT TIPPING?

Remember, every winery is hoping that you buy wine so if you like what you taste then bring some home. For the most part you won’t find many of these wines at your supermarket. And yes to tipping, especially if they just spend an hour with you telling you about the wines and the winery. Tip like you would normally, 10% to 20% works. i like to keep a bunch of $5 bills in my wallet when wine tasting and just hand them cash. Most of the wineries in Paso are small and family run so a cash tip is really appreciated.

IS THIS YOUR COMPANY? WHY DO YOU KEEP RECOMMENDING THE PRIORITY WINE PASS?

No, it’s not my company but I go way back with them to the very beginning when my Napa site was new and I was looking for way to help my readers find the best deals. And yes, while they do pay me a small fee if one of my readers buys the pass the real reason why I am happy to promote it is that it works. It’s really the best way to save money without sacrificing your experience. Let me know if you have any questions.
